Emo Hairstyles
Emo hair styles are a growing phenomenon with teens and young adults. Emo is a sort of ‘punk’ style fashion statement. You really have to realize what emo hairstyles are to be able to find the right one for you. Emo hair styles are not just a hair cuts, they are fashion statements of individuals who are open in expressing themselves outwardly and physically.
There are endless emo styles to choose from though, you can easily create your very own with a little imagination, or if you’ve seen someone else and can describe what you want to your stylist I’m sure they can deliver and give you exactly what you are looking for. Although I’m sure that your stylist would prefer pictures, even if you want one thing from one picture and something else from another, it would be a little easier for the stylist if they could actually see a picture of what it is that you are looking for.
Emo hair styles, are generally sleek and straight, with a lot of layers and the ends are carefully layered with a razor for that soft, wispy, lightweight and airy flow of the hair. Though the styles of that sleek look are what differ each emo haircut.
A very popular style for guys is the Shaggy Emo hairstyle. It is usually a little bit of a longer hairstyle, with long straight layers swept slightly off the face to one side diagonally, never parting it in the center. This look also looks really great on girls.
Emo hair styles for guys can also be really spiky, but not ‘perfect spiky’ kind of ‘messy spiky’ I guess you could say. Usually when spiking the emo hairstyle the back is a little shorter than the top so that the spikes stand out and are all over.
Emo girl hairstyles are pretty much the same as any emo haircut for guys and I’m sure would look just as good on any emo girl. Although I’ve seen more spiky styles on guys rather than girls, and more sleek facial form fitting emo girl hairstyles.
I have also noticed specific colors such as jet black bangs and the back was dark brown, I have seen a lot of reds, dark browns, and blondes also, but not just one of the colors though. Mix them up, like having long black bangs with blonde in the back. Or try dying all of your hair black with dark red highlights.
Your imagination is your limit, so have fun and experiment when choosing an emo hairstyle, because experimentation is the only way to find what you are looking for.
